GETTING HERE
We are proudly located on the historic Erie Canal at Lock 32 Brewing Company, 10 Schoen Place, Pittsford, NY 14534. There is plenty of public parking close by, and we’re right on the Erie Canal path so you can get here by foot or by bike too (there’s a bike rack right out front). We are also directly across the canal from the Port of Pittsford, so you can tie up your boat and stop in for a beer.
OUR SPACE
We take every opportunity to highlight our location on the canal. Our indoor space is bright and open, with two large sliding windows to allow for wide views of the canal and Schoen Place. We also have a great outdoor patio (with outdoor taps when the weather is nice), including a covered area for shade, plenty of Adirondack chairs, and firepits.
BEER
We brew a wide range of beers to accommodate a wide range of palates. We welcome everyone here, and we make sure our tap list reflects that same spirit of inclusivity. We have some classics (Mule Fuel anyone?), and some one-offs and experimental brews to meet the mood of the season. Check out our current tap list.
NOT BEER
We serve five or six different varietals of wine, and we always have a rotating local cider on tap. Once in a while we’ll brew a hard seltzer too. For those looking for non-alcoholic beverages, we offer non-alcoholic seltzers, root beer, and plenty of pour-your-own water.
FOOD
We will freely admit – we are brewers, not chefs. Many great local restaurants, including Simply Crepes, Aladdin’s, the Coal Tower, and Label 7 will deliver to the tasting room. You’re also welcome to bring in food from anywhere else (if that food happens to be homemade chocolate chip cookies please share with the bartenders).
PRIVATE EVENTS + TOURS
We’re so proud that since we opened in 2015, our tap room has turned into a place for friends and neighbors to gather to celebrate occasions big and small. If you are interested in holding a private event (company event, nonprofit fundraiser, bridal shower, surprise proposal, you name it) just get in touch with us at info@lock32brew.com for more information. If you are making us a stop on a bus tour, we’d love to have you – we just appreciate a heads up first so we can make preparations to make your visit a great one.
TO GO
We can spin up a fresh 32 oz. crowler (or two, or three, or four) of any of our beers in no time. It’s the perfect way to enjoy our beer anywhere. Just promise us to keep it cold and enjoy it fresh!
ACCESSIBILITY
All are welcome here, and we are wheelchair accessible. If you have any other questions or specific requests about accessibility please get in touch at info@lock32brew.com.
KIDS AND DOGS
We are family friendly (and have an Xbox to prove it), and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
A LAST NOTE
We are not going to lie – things are still weird with covid. Please be respectful of people who choose to wear (or not wear) a mask, socially distance as appropriate, and take extra precautions to stay safe. We have tried to cultivate a welcoming place to all before the pandemic and during it, and as we figure out what this all looks like now we want to keep that same spirit alive. Thank you for being a good neighbor.
